On April 19 2008, Easton Fire Department celebrated their
200 years of service. The parade was very large and judged competitively.
Everyone had a great time and looked great. Trappe participated in the
parade and were presented the following awards : 2nd Best Appearing Marching
unit, Best Appearing Engine 15 years or older (E-39), Best Appearing Brushing
Truck (BR-35), and Best Appearing Rescue Pumper (R-32). We has several
life members and well as newer members drive units and march with us a well.
Thanks to everyone who helped us with cleaning and preparing for the parade.
Thanks to our own Willie Smith for helping with the marching line. Thanks
to Easton for the wonderful time. Also Thanks to Lakes and Straights Fire Dept
for standing by for us.
